I started caring for Dorothy a little over a year ago, when I first started working with the company. I had never taken care of someone with Alzheimer's before. I quickly fell in love with this amazing woman. From her swats on the fanny to her telling family "secrets" about a sister no one knew about. Oh but my favorite was how she got so drunk (not really ;) ) and than needed a nap because she was hungover. Sometimes she would get irritated and shake a fist but I'd lean in close and ask if she was mad. She'd lean in and put her forehead against mine and growl "yes I am!" I'd tell her I'm sorry than she'd pat me on the cheek. I believe it was her way of saying it's ok. I have so many fond memories of her and feel blessed to have known her. Dorothy you will truly be missed. Xoxo hugs & kisses to you Miss Dorothy!
