Marcella M. Finnemore Angelica Marcella M. Finnemore, 83 of County Road 16, passed away on Friday (July 31, 2020) at her home. She was born April 5, 1937 in Ohio. She was the daughter of Roy Fry and Hazel (Hines) Fry (who passed away when Marcella was very young). Marcella married H. Wayne Finnemore on November 23, 1955. They lived in Wellsville for a short time and then moved to the Birdsall and Angelica area. Marcella was employed at the former Angelica Central School for 21 years prior to her retirement in 1995. The children as well as the staff at the school loved her personality. She is survived by her husband H. Wayne Finnemore, her son Christopher (Jeaneane) Finnemore of Angelica, a daughter Teresa (James) Claypool of West Almond, 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 2 sisters Lila Quinn of VA, Doreen Hunt of PA, and many brothers and sisters in law. She was predeceased by her parents, her step mother Betty Fry, 2 sisters Shirley Hyde, Marie Saladay, 2 brothers Kenneth and Ronald Fry. Funeral services were held at Brown & Powers Funeral Home in Angelica and conducted by Rev. Stephen Crowell on August 4, 2020. Burial was at Until the Day Dawn Cemetery in Angelica. She loved all her family and they her. She will be missed greatly.
