I only knew Roger for a short time, long ago. But, his life was very well lived. That is not a surprise...! C. Hall

What a wonderful brother-in-law I had! We had so much fun every time we got together with Candice and Roger - golfing, hiking, camping and eating! I will always remember the laughter and the love he had for his family. Til we meet again...

Candy, Kelly, & Kristy - I feel Roger possessed the qualities that would be most desired in a person interacting with young people on a daily basis as a teacher and coach. I'm sure his life was full, in greatest part because of you 3, but wish it had been fuller, longer, and without leukemia. And that I'd gotten to know him better. I pray you'll have comfort and peace as God alone can give it. Memories - his leaping up from his basketball coaching chair, seemingly in disbelief at either a bad call by a ref (or a dumb play by a player!); his parents being in attendance at the games.

Candice - when you first brought Roger home to meet the family I was only 8 years old and I felt like I had a new big brother. Now I’m 63 and I can say Roger was more than a brother-in-law - he was a big brother that I looked up to, that made every family outing fun, that showed me life is about ups and downs but how we approach it and live it, is in our hands. I shall always hold him in my heart with a scratch off in my hand, and when I feel a void shall step outside, look up to the sky and say “hey Rog, I think I have more quarters than you!” He will be missed and our prayers are with you.
Love Christina and Bud
