Bernard A. Hults Sr. Hornell Bernard A. Hults Sr., 75 of Madison Avenue, passed away Monday (Jan. 18, 2021) at St. James Hospital. Born in the Town of Canisteo, July 14, 1945, the son of Miles and Ida Butler Hults, he had resided in this area all his life. Bernard had been employed as a custodian at Hornell High School, retiring after 35 years of service. He was predeceased by his parents, his wife; Gloria Hults, his brother; Roger Hults, step-brother; Lloyd Hults, step-sister; Dorceil Moran. He is survived by 3 daughters; Rebecca Hults of Hornell, Brenda (Jeff) Armaly of Hornell, Buffy Reynolds of Friendship, Four sons; Bernard (Denise) Hults Jr. of Hornell, Benjamin (Beth) Hults of Hornell, Roger (Samantha Allen) Hults of Hornell and Brett Hults of Hornell, special Aunt; Blanch Campbell of Greenwood, Step Sister; Helen Hults Jones of Cameron, Grandchildren; Tyler Hults, Collin Hults, Kaitlyn Hults and Teal Hults all of Hornell, Dustin Olin Jr., and Joseph Olin, step-grandchildren; Jeffery Armaly of Washington State, Tianne Keefer of Hornell, Darrin Armaly of Hornell, Cody Armaly of Hornell, Hannah Beam of Alfred, Alex Reynolds of Canandaigua, and Kennedy Reynolds of Jasper. The family will be present to receive friends at the Bender-Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo Street, Hornell on Friday from 4 PM until 6 PM where funeral services will follow calling hours at 6 PM with Rev. Brian Diffenbacher officiating. Burial will be in Rural Cemetery, Hornell. Friends wishing to remember Bernard are asked to consider a contribution to the Hornell Area Humane Society, 7649 Industrial Park Road, Hornell, NY 14843.
