Obituary of Catherine E Fish

Catherine E. Fish Painted Post Catherine E. Fish, 102, formerly of Hornell and Cameron, passed away Tuesday (Feb. 9, 2021) , at Absolut Center Three Rivers in Painted Post. Born in Hornell, January 10, 1919, the daughter of Horton and Dorothy Spears Giles, she resided her early life in Hornell before moving to Cameron with her family. In the late 1940’s she moved to Painted Post where she spent the rest of her life. She was a graduate of Addison Central School, and for most of her working life had been employed as a Banquet waitress, at the Lodge On The Green in Painted Post. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Painted Post. She was predeceased by her parents,her step-father Walter J. Clark, her husbands; William H. Jenks and Jerome W. Fish, as well as her brother; Richard Giles. She is survived by her daughters; Marilyn (Kenneth) Thomas of Corning, Susan (Derek) Gould of Corning and Carol (Dennis) Naylor also of Corning, her sons; Steven (Linda) Jenks of Cameron and D. Larry (May Young-Jenks) of Groton, Grandchildren; Kenneth Thomas III(Nicole), Katie Ruth Thomas, Andrew Naylor, Jason Jenks, and Catherine Jenks, Great Grandchildren; Sierra Thomas, Kaylyn Thomas, and Lauren Thomas, Step Grand Daughter; Brooke Gould, nephew; Robert Guiles and 7 step-children and their families with her late husband; Jerome Fish.
