Obituary of LeRoy Edward Lantz

LeRoy E. Lantz Hornell LeRoy E. Lantz, 84 of County Route 27, passed away Wednesday (Feb 17, 2021) at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. Born in Hornell, October 6, 1936, the son of Ludwig and Elsie Prouty Lantz, he had resided for over 40 years in Rochester before returning to Hornell. While in Rochester, he was employed at Firth-Rixon for over 30 years. He was predeceased by his parents, and his brother; Junior Lantz. Surviving is his longtime companion; Mary Jones of Hornell, three daughters; Terri (Allen) Russell of Rochester, Kelly Morehouse of Rochester and Lori Reynolds of Greece, two sons; Ricky (Lisa) Lantz of Rochester, and LeRoy Edward (Sue) Lantz Jr. of Hilton, three sisters; Elsie Houghtaling of Hornell, Mary (John) Brown of Almond and Ruth (James) Whitmore of Hornell, two brothers; Jacob Lantz of Hornell and David (Cheryl) Lantz of Hornell, 14 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Burial will be in Rural Cemetery, Hornell.
