Carol A. (Jacobs) Thompson Angelica (Allen) Carol A. Thompson, 75 of County Road 15A, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2021 after a long illness. Carol was born in Buffalo, NY on January 29, 1946 the daughter of Clifton Jacobs and Iva Hurlburt Jacobs. She graduated from East Aurora High School, and moved to the area in 1977. Carol was retired from the Houghton Nursing Home, where she was well known for being a hard worker. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, crocheting, making blankets, and taking care of her numerous cats. Carol was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Kenneth Thompson in 2017, her son Tommy Coen Jr. in 2012, her sister Onalee Stahle, and her brother Duane Jacobs. She is survived by her daughter Shari Schnell of Rochester, 2 sons Donald Coen of Canaseraga, Michael Coen of Angelica, 2 brothers Sheldon Jacobs of CO, Harold Jacobs of NM, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to visit on Saturday (March 20, 2021) from 11am-1pm at the Brown & Powers Funeral Home 101 West Avenue in Angelica. A private family service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours with Pastor David Ford officiating.
