Obituary of Mary Helen Gordon

Mary Helen Gordon Hornell Mary H. Gordon, 72, of East Ave went to be with her Lord on Tuesday (May 11, 2021) at ST James Hospital. Born in Honesdale, PA on October 18, 1948 the daughter of the late Bernard and Harriet (Hempstead ) Hannel, she had resided in Hornell the majority of her adult life. Mary was predeceased by both parents as well as her three brothers; Paul, Henry and Jackie Hannel and an infant sister; Bernadett Hannel. She is survived by her son; Roger Anderson of Hornell, one brother; William (Penny) Hannel of South Dakota and her Sister Anne Bidwell of White Mills, PA., three grandchildren; Brandon Anderson of San Francisco, CA., Elijah Anderson and Isaiah Anderson, both of Wayland and many nieces and nephews. Mary had an abundance of friends including her special friend “sister” Marseena Harmonson. There will be no calling hours.
