Jane Pearl Bentley (McRae), who was born November 24, 1951. originally of Angelica NY, passed away on August 5, 2021 in Denham Springs, LA due to complications from Pulmonary Hypertension.
Jane worked as a Property Manager alongside her loving husband Ward Bentley Jr. for many years throughout the South. She was a devoted wife , loving Mother, grandmother, aunt ,and sister. Jane enjoyed following her family and loved ones on social media and always left loving encouraging comments for them; loved to crochet, sew , crafts and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children, Todd Beals Sr. of South Congraee, South Carolina. and Tonya (Brenden) Benedict of Denham Springs, LA., Grandchildren, Todd Jr. and Austin Beals of South Congaree SC, , Cassondra Cadwell, Seth Mixon and Brighten Benedict of Denham Springs, LA, along with siblings Archie McRae Jr. of Detroit , MI, LeEtta Burkhard and Gloria Villa of Angelica, NY, Kirk McRae of Hornell, NY, Jay Hamrick of Kentucky, Michelle Cowles of Olean and Katie Lyn Broekel of Hinsdale, NY, Margaret Atkinson and Sandra Hotchkiss of North Carolina, Marty McRae of Jacksonville, FL, twin brother James McRae of Tennessee, Step children , many grandchildren, great and great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews, from all over the world. Jane was pre-deceased by her husband Ward Bentley Jr.Parents Archie and Lois McRae Sr., step-daughter Sondra Bentley, sisters Georgia Rose and Karen Wolfgang and brother Edward McRae.

A graveside service will be held by Brown and Powers Funeral Home at Short Tract Cemetery in Fillmore, NY on Tuesday August 10th at 1:00 p.m. A Celebration of life will follow at the Angelica American Legion at 2:30 PM. Everyone is welcome to attend .
