Arthur E. Kromer, 56, of Elm Street in Dansville passed away Wednesday (September, 1, 2021) at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.
Born in Hornell, July 29, 1965, the son of Ronald and Bernice (Bowen) Kromer he had spent his early years in the Arkport and Burns area before moving to Dansville where he had resided for the last seven and a half years. He was a graduate of the Arkport Central School, Class of 1983 and later graduated from Boces with a degree in welding. He had been employed as a welder at Foster Wheeler for several years before working at Kraft Foods in Avon as a placer for the last eight years. He was a member of The Dansville Moose Club Lodge 1130 and enjoyed hunting as well as his New York Yankees.
He was predeceased by his parents, his sister; Bonnie Mahoney and a brother in law; Jay Plaisted.
Arthur is Survived by his significant other of the last seven and a half years; Cheryl Towner of Dansville and loved spending time with her family, her kids and her grandchildren, his ex-wife; Sandra (Timothy) Neth of Burns with whom they had four children together, one son; Adam Kromer of Hornell, three daughters; Sheila Kromer, Stacey Kromer both of Hornell and Shantel Kromer of Angelica. Also surviving are three sisters; Debbie (Ralph) Perry, Carolyn (Bob) Erwin and Shelly (Kromer) Bailor as well as one granddaughter; Mara Swan of Angelica and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

The family will be present to receive friends at the Bender-Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo Street, Hornell on Tuesday, September 7 from 9-11AM and from 2 until 4PM at which time Funeral services will be held with the Reverend Lenny Fuller officiating. Burial will be in Arkport Cemetery.
