When I was around 4 or 5 years old, before Uncle Dick and Aunt Bev had children of their own, they used to "borrow" me from my parents for the day. I used to LOVE this. As a child with 4 brothers and 2 sisters, sometimes it was a challenge getting my parents attention. Especially when you have siblings like mine who were always up to something. But when I was spending the day with Dick and Bev I got lots and lots of attention and we did lots of fun things. I can remember raking and playing in leaves with them. I remember throwing snow balls and building snow sculptures. I remember playing tag in the back yard. It was wonderful. Then I got older and Karen was born. All those special fun times ended. But I will never ever forget them.. And one last thing. I'm sorry I hit you Uncle Dick with all those snowballs. I hope it didn't hurt too much. : )
