Hal Gregory Wood, 65, of Leo Street, passed away Sunday (Nov. 21, 2021) at Rochester General Hospital.
Born in Dansville, Sept 2, 1956, the son of Harold and Corrinne Seeley Wood, he had resided in Wayland several years and in Rochester, the past 12 years. He had been employed for several years as a truck driver for Sunshine Haulers in Geneva, and later was employed at Farmer John’s Popcorn in Rochester. Hal will be remembered for his love of animals, and deer hunting.
He was predeceased by his father, his son; Brian Wood, his brothers; Eric Wood, Wayne “Danny” Wood and Joel Wood.
Surviving are his mother; Corrinne Miller of Arkport, his daughter; Kathrine Galton of Wellsville, his son; Gregory (Christine) Porter of Dansville, his brothers; Shane Wood of Rochester and Craig Wood of Elmira. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
