Robert W. Gallman Angelica Robert W. Gallman, 75, of Old State Road, went to the Lord in Peace after a brief illness on Tuesday (January 25, 2022). He was born in Wellsville on July 28, 1946 the son of Roland Gallmann and Grace Deming Gallmann. Bob graduated from Angelica Central School “Class of 1964” and was the class president. He was the past Fire Chief and member for the Angelica Fire Department, a past member of the Angelica Rescue Squad, and was a member and trustee of the United Church of Friendship. Bob enjoyed roque (croquet) and was a 7 time champion; spending summer evenings on his front porch with his family; listening to “oldies” on the radio; drag racing; car shows especially Cruise Night in Angelica; his hot rods over the years; as a teen spending time at the Angelica raceway; and playing cards once a week. Bob was a hard worker (always working 2 jobs) starting out delivering newspapers in the Fifth Grade. He was a truck driver for over 50 years working alongside his father, brother, sister and nephews for the family company Angelica Enterprises Inc. He was predeceased by his parents Roland and Grace, an infant sister Marlene Sue Gallmann, his mother and father in law Arthur and Gladys Button, his aunt Rowena Stallings, his brothers in law Art Button, Fred Button and Richard Wahl. He is survived by his wife Sharon Button Gallman, whom he married on October 22, 1976 in Las Vegas, his son Toma (Brandy) Hutchison, his grandchildren Brooke, Ty, and Trent Hutchison, his brothers James (Terri) Gallman, Dean (Kymn) Gallmann, his sister Barbara Gallman Wahl, 22 nieces and nephews and also great nieces and nephews and lots of cousins. Bob was very proud of his family. The family will be present to receive friends on Saturday (January 29, 2022) from 4-7pm at the Brown & Powers Funeral Home in Angelica. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Sunday (January 30, 2022) at 2:00pm with Pastor Kirk Kirch officiating and also with Military Honors. Burial will be at the Until the Day Dawn Cemetery in Angelica.
