Anna M. Booth Howard Anna M. Booth, 85 of Smith Pond Road, passed away Friday (March 11, 2022) at her home with her daughter Julie and granddaughter Jaclyn by her side. Born in Whitesville, March 10, 1937, she was the daughter of Howard and Gertrude LaFoy Smith. She was a graduate of Whitesville Central School, class of 1955, earned her Registered Nurses Degree in 1957. She had been employed as a charge nurse for many years at the former Bethesda Community Hospital in North Hornell. Ann had made her home in the Arkport and Fremont area all her life. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband; Russell Booth in 1982, and her brother; Paul Smith. She is survived by her daughter; Julie Booth-Bowes and her husband; Christopher of Bath, her son; Russell Booth II (Cindy Kennell) of Brooktondale, New York, her sister; Mary Korman of Pennsylvania, and her sister-in-law; Darrah Smith of Derby, New York, her grand and great grandchildren; Kelvin Lapierre of Batavia, Mitchell (Erin) Lapierre and their daughter; Adilyn of North Carolina, Jaclyn (Stanley Sellard) Lapierre and their children; Reagan and Paislee of Avoca, Steven Bowes of Corning, Barbara (Douglas Crouch) Bowes of Campbell and Richard (Heather Stanford) Booth of Fremont, her best lifelong friends; Linda Drum, Loretta Crossett, Barbara Kull and Carol Burdett who always checked in on her.
