Ann M. (Cole) Kloss Hornell Ann Kloss,75, of Riverbend Apartments, passed away Friday (March , 18 2022) at St. James Hospital. Born in Bath, N.Y. on Nov. 5, 1946, she was the daughter of Chester and Louise (Clark) Cole who predeceased her. Ann left the area after finishing the eleventh grade. She moved to Sharon, PA where she met and married Richard Kloss. After Richard’s retirement, she and her husband moved back to Hornell. Ann loved to bake (Especially cakes) as well as knitting and was adored by many who she considered her friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband; Richard Kloss in 2016, a brother; Robert (Linda Wille) Cole and three sisters; Margaret Hamilton-Clark, Elizabeth Ann Hirt and Nancy (William) Lewis. Survivors include, one brother; Andris D. Cole of PA, two sisters; Christine (Augie) Cavalletti of Hornell and Susan (F. Robert) Cawley of Hornell, close friend; Lynne Fairchild of Sharon, PA, Brother In-law; Charles Hirt of MA. as well as many nieces and nephews whom she loved. There will be no calling hours. Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Saturday (April 2, 2022) at 12:00 pm at Rural Cemetery, Hornell. Deacon Robert McCormick will officiate.
