Jeffrey Shill, 68, of Mitchellsville Hill Rd. passed away on Friday (March 25) at his home.
Born on December 29, 1953 the son of Richard “John” and Helen “Jo” Armstrong Shill, he had resided his entire life in the Bath/Hammondsport area.
Jeffrey was a graduate of Prattsburgh Central School and had been employed for over forty years at the former Phillips Westinghouse in Bath.
He was a former member of the Bath VFW Post 1470 and the Hammondsport American Legion.
He was an avid reader as well as an avid hunter and fisherman which included ice fishing on his beloved Keuka Lake.
Jeffrey was predeceased by both parents and a sister; Jacqueline Anesko.
He is survived by two nieces; Stephanie Wachala of Canisteo and Gennette Wachala of Oswego, two great nieces; Brittany Jenkins and Jolene Lucas (both of Canisteo), one great great niece; Morgan Burdick also of Canisteo.
There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held by the family at a future date.
