Donald J. Pierce Hornell Donald J. Pierce , 65, of Hill Street, passed away Thursday (June 2, 2022), at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville with his family by his side. Don was born in Corning, June 25, 1956, and had over 10 years as a CDL driver. He loved his 4 legged best friend; Poco. Don dedicated most of his time to gardening, cooking out and spending time with his family. He was an avid New York Yankee’s fan. He was predeceased by his mother, Annie Crosby and his father, Donald Pierce. He is survived by his children, Jodi Pierce of Bradford, NY, Desera Kuhn of Elmira Heights, NY, Kayla Pierce and Lindsey Pierce both of Hornell, his grandchildren, Issek Pierce, Elijah Pierce, Katalynna Rumsey, Jaxson Kuhn, his sisters, Rose Kline of Corning, Shem Pierce of Florida, and Donna Pierce., brother, Jimmy Pierce of Corning, and long- time companion, Rita. It was Don’s wishes that there be no services. Anyone wishing may contribute to the Hornell Bible Church, West Street, Hornell, NY.
