Kelly R. Reynolds, 61 of Jane Street, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday (Sept 15, 2022) at St. James Hospital.
Born in Hornell, May 7, 1961, the son of Edward and Florence Norton Reynolds, he had resided nearly all his life in Hornell. He was a graduate of Hornell High School. He had been employed as a carpenter for 32 years with Michael Pelych Construction Company and at the Hornell Association. Most recently he was employed with GMI of Hornell.
He was predeceased by his parents and his nieces Penny Lockwood and Andrea Sciotti.
Surviving are his wife, Katherine Chriscaden Reynolds of Hornell, step-daughter, Danielle Falzarano-Harding of Butler, PA, step-sons Heath (Jaimie) Falzarano of Clarence and Hoss Coates of Hornell, his sisters, Karol Lockwood of Tennessee, Debbie (Tony) Sciotti of Hornell, brothers, Alan (Kathy) Reynolds of Canisteo and Scott (Laura) Reynolds of Texas, 7 step grandchildren, 3 step great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Kelly was a wonderfully kind and giving person with a great sense of humor and a contagious laugh. He was the kind of person who would go out of his way for his friends and family. He took great pride in his carpentry work since it was something he was good at and something he enjoyed.
He was an active member of the Hornell Association since its inception and liked spending time at the “club” with his friends. He loved his family. His pride and joy were his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is and will always be greatly loved by all and will be sorely missed.
Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday (Sept. 22, 2022) from 2 PM until 4 PM at the Bender- Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo Street in Hornell. Burial will be in Hornell Rural Cemetery.
