Trude J. Rawleigh, 73, of 47 Mechanic Street, passed away peacefully on Tuesday (November 1, 2022) at Jones Memorial Hospital. Born in Wellsville, NY, December 29, 1948, to Jack and Elizabeth (Young) Brandes. She was a resident of Angelica, NY graduating from Angelica Central School. Post high school graduation she attended Craig Colony Training School for Nurses earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. She worked her entire career as a Registered Nurse, working at Livingston County Nursing Facility in Geneseo, NY, Noyes Memorial Hospital, Mt. Morris Central School, Highland Hospital and worked as a travel nurse in Monroe County, Wayne County, Ontario County and surrounding area hospitals. She married Carl Rawleigh on May 29, 1993.
Trude loved sports including her Cleveland Browns football team, the Indy 500 and loved watching figure skating. Her passions included gardening, painting, arts and crafts, antique shopping, reading and listening to music.
She was predeceased by her father Jack Brandes, her mother Elizabeth Young Brandes, her sister Debbie Curry a nephew Calvin Curry, and a her loving husband Carl Rawleigh.
She is survived by her brother John (Nicole) Brandes, sister Janet ( Donnie) Fields, her daughter June ( Kirk) Brickwood, her son Raymond ( Beth) Snyder, and her step daughter Cynthia “Cindy” ( Jason )Reinhard. Her loving grandchildren Hayden( Maddy), Allison, Harrison Brickwood. Jenna and Jeffrey Snyder, Drew Reinhard and great grandson Roman Brickwood, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will have a private service at a later date.
Funeral arrangements are with the Brown & Powers Funeral Home in Angelica.
