Ida A. Brickhouse, 89, of Maple City Drive, passed away peacefully Sunday (Nov. 6, 2022) at St. James Hospital.
Born in Exmore, Virginia July 10, 1933, the daughter of Colie and Carrie James Harmon, she had been employed as a nurseryman at Curtis Nursery in Virginia before coming to Hornell in 1981.
She was predeceased by her parents, her son, Curtis Harmonson Sr. her sister, Christine Harmon, her brothers, Oltho, Leroy, James, George, Colie Jr. and Robert Harmon, and her daughter-in-law, Agnes Harmonson.
Surviving are her children, Clarence Harmonson of Louisiana, Loretta Gay of Hornell, Atoris Harmonson of Virginia, Eurafius (Margaret) Harmonson of Virginia, Ida (Robert) Wise of Hornell and Isaac (Lynn) Harmonson of Georgia, Daughter in law Marseena Harmonson, 21 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, 14 great great grandchildren and 3 yet to be born, a Host of Nieces & Nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Saturday (Nov. 12, 2022) from 1 PM until 2 PM at the Bender-Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo Street in Hornell where a funeral service will be held following calling hours at 2 PM with Marseena Harmonson officiating.
