Roberta Lynn “Bobbi” Knight, 77 of Cohocton, passed away Friday (Nov. 25, 2022) at St. James Hospital in Hornell.

Born in Brooklyn NY, October 14, 1945, she was the daughter of Daniel and Blanche Schrader Fishman.  Bobbi had made her home in the Cohocton area for the past 20 years.

She was a graduate of Wantagh High School on Long Island, and received her Bachelors Degree from Mansfield University in Mansfield, PA. Bobbi had been employed as a Program Manager for the Center For Dispute Settlement in Bath for several years.

She was predeceased by her parents, and her husband, Gary L. Knight in 2017.

Surviving are her daughter, Stephanie (Chad) Magnuson of Woodhull, her sons, Seth Bable of Canandaigua, James (Tammy) Woolgar of Corning and Gary Lee Knight Jr. of Bath, her sister, Sharon King of Long Island, 6 grandchildren, Mark Knight, Jacilee Toby, Jennifer Woolgar, Aiden Bable, Noah Magnuson, and Alayna Magnuson, 2 great grandchildren, Lydia Toby and Landon Toby, her niece Candice and nephew, Jason.

The family will be present to receive friends on Tuesday (Nov. 29, 2022) from 11:30 AM until 12:30 PM at the Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 6 Spruce Street in Canisteo where a service will be held at 12:30 PM. Rabbi David Abrahams will officiate.  The family will observe a private burial service.
