Scott Patrick Briggs, 52 of Landis Road, passed away Tuesday (May 9, 2023 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.

Born in Hornell, March 16, 1971, he was the son of Eugene and Mildred Henry Briggs. He had been employed in Construction in his early life, and more recently, owned and operated Briggs Concrete, Inc. in Hornell.

Scott was predeceased by his father Eugene Briggs and his mother Mildred Briggs, two brothers, Robert and Jeffery Briggs, as well as his maternal and paternal grandparents.

He is survived by his long time companion, Jennifer Rauber  Noone, his children, Cole Henry Briggs of Hornell, Brody Patric Noone of Hornell ,Luke Jameson Kilmer of Canisteo and Emily Rose (Matt Ingalls) Noone of Belmont, his brothers, Richard (Karen) Briggs of Friendship and Jerald Briggs of Hornell, step mother, Janice Briggs of Almond, step-sister, Crissandra (Gary) Plank, and step-brother, Andrew (Dianna) Ames.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours at the Bender-Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo Street in Hornell on Monday (May 15, 2023) from 4 PM until 6 PM when funeral services will be held with Rev. Dudley Jenkins officiating. A Celebration Of Life will be held at a time and place to be announced at a later date.
