Rebecca Lee Wright, 50, transitioned peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Becky as she was affectionately known, was born in Buffalo, NY on June 7, 1972 to the late Judith (Kennick) and the late John J. Pawlowski of Lackawanna, NY.

Becky graduated from Alfred State College with a degree n Horticulture and Floral Design.

Becky married Lew Wright on May 6, 2007. The two had been together for 23 years and were blessed with their only child CJ.

She worked for 6 years as a Direct Support Assistant with NYS DDSO. She also worked as a floral designer, commercial cleaner, and as a bartender, where she was known for her firey spirit and tireless energy.

Becky was strong in her Catholic belief and loved her family, especially her boy, whom she cherished and protected.

Becky is survived by her husband Lew Wright, her son Clayton John Wright, her twin sister Roberta L. Pawlowski and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Calling hours will be on Wednesday (May 17, 2023) from 4-7pm at the Brown & Powers Funeral Home in Angelica. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St Patricks Roman Catholic Church in Belfast on Thursday (May 18, 2023) at 1:00pm. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Belfast, NY.
