June Bullock Hawkins, 90 of East Main Street, passed away Tuesday (May 23, 2023) at  Olean General Hospital.

Born in Oatka, New York, October 1, 1932, she was the daughter of John and Florence Peck Phillips. She had resided several years in Angelica and was a member of the First Baptist Church. She had been employed as a Cashier/ Bank Assistant at the former First Trust Union Bank in Angelica.

She was predeceased by her parents, her first husband, Glenn Bullock, her sisters, Doris Spurr, Louise Balestrieri, Lois Hemlich, Evelyn George, Mildred Keller,and  her brother, Marshall Phillips.

Surviving are her husband, Ronald Hawkins, two daughters, Darlene (Arthur) Hecker of Angelica and Dawn (Matthew) Sweet of North Carolina, her sister, Lena Schmidt of Florida and her brother, Calvin Phillips of Perry. Two grandchildren, Tonya Metatos and Lindsey Greene, Four great grandchildren, Charisma Metatos, Tristan Metatos, Emilia Greene and Logan Greene.

The family will be present to receive friends on Friday (May 26, 2023) from 6-9 PM at the Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 101 West Avenue in Angelica. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 AM at the First Baptist Church on Park Circle in Angelica. Burial will follow at Until The Day Dawn Cemetery.
