Joseph G. Stevens

Joseph G. Stevens, 81, formerly of North Street, passed away Thursday (June 22, 2023) at the Maple City Rehabitation and Nursing Center in Hornell.

Born Oct. 30, 1941 in Hornell, he was the son of Lewis and Mary Stevens. He had been employed at the former Burd Saw Mill in Canisteo and Gunlocke in Wayland.

He was predeceased by his parents, his wife, Rose Marie Stevens, his son Joseph and his daughter, Mary Louise Stevens, his sisters Ruth and Lena Stevens and his brothers, Frank, Arthur, Bill, Jim, and Clifford Stevens.

Surviving are two sons, Christopher (Joanna) Stevens, and Luther (Tina) Stevens both of Canisteo, his grandchildren, Borina Stevens, Lewis Stevens, Luke Stevens, Kristina (Zack) Ames and Ryan Stevens, several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Friday June 30^th at 2PM at Woodlawn Cemetery in Canisteo. Rev. Dena Stevens will officiate.
