Thomas J. Bebout, 79 a resident of North Almond Valley Road, passed away Sunday (Oct. 8, 2023) at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville.

Born in  Hornell, April 1, 1944, he was the son of Duane and Mary Ricci Bebout. He had resided all his life in this area and was a graduate of Hornell High School. He had been employed for several years at the former Foster Wheeler in Dansville.

He was predeceased by his parents, and his wife Patricia Harwood Bebout in 2017.

Surviving are one daughter- Tammy (Larry) Lawrence of Hornell, two sons, Tom (Julie) Bebout of Hornell and Tim Bebout of Hornell, his sister, Joan(Jim) Wilhoit of Ohio, and brothers, Richard (Marlene) Bebout of Dansville and James (Nancy) Bebout of Hornell, 12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Honoring Tom’s wishes, there will be no calling hours. The family will observe a private committal service at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Fremont.

Friends wishing to remember Tom are asked to consider a memorial contribution to the Hart Comfort House, 141 East State Street, Wellsville, NY 14895.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Bender-Brown & Powers Funeral Home of Hornell.
