Frederick C. Campbell II                                                                                              Canisteo

Frederick C. Campbell II, a resident of Gravel Run Road, passed away Thursday (Oct. 12, 2023 at Highland Hospital in Rochester.

Born in Hornell, April 10, 1957, he was the son of Frederick and Joanne Sydelko Campbell. He had resided his entire life in the Hornell and Canisteo area.  He was  a graduate of Hornell High School and had been employed as an electrician for Campbell Electric in Hornell.

Fred was an associate member of the Canisteo American Legion Post and enjoyed hunting, watching NASCAR, and attending races at Woodhull Raceway. Fred loved watching his deer and taking care of all the stray cats people dropped off.  

He was predeceased by his parents, and his niece, Emily Campbell.

Surviving are his brothers, Michael (Carolin) Campbell of North Hornell  James (Kimberly) Campbell of Alfred Station, and his sister, Susanne Moster of Florida, Several nieces and nephews.

Honoring Fred’s wishes, there will be no calling hours. A Private gathering of his family will be held at the Bender-Brown & Powers Funeral Home of Hornell at their convenience.

Because of Fred’s love of animals, especially cats, the family requests those wishing make a contribution to “Cozy Cats n Kittens, Inc”. 80 Seneca Street, Hornell, NY 14843 in his memory
