Thank you Mary. In fact, all of the treasured tales from Grandma about you, Jason, Lexie, Roman, and yes, Zoey and Leah, will be more distant and somehow less rich - but the memories will become evermore important. Moms abundant, unquestionable, and unqualified love knew no bounds - just ask her PITA, Debi, Michael Cudoni or any of the Firlit’s or Cudoni’s.
Few people know this, but it was at the urging of her friend, Christine Donlon, that mom follow her dream and become a registered nurse - and that’s just what she did.
Later, with Chris Ellis and Marge Dininny, they were known as the maternity wards three musketeers - a rightful title bestowed upon them by Dr. Meera Chaudhri. Indeed, many children in this city first saw their faces even before their own parents.
That said, the most comforting thought, is knowing that Mom is finally reunited with her beloved son, our brother, Christopher - the hole in her heart caused by losing him, is finally healed.
We also know there is a magnificent reunion with her parents, her dear sister Jean, Uncle Ed, Uncle John, Grandma Maxson - all of whom she so terribly missed.
To her friends here today, on behalf of my family, my father, Ray; my brother, Ray; my sister, Ruthanne, and my brother, Ed, thank you for your tender words of kindness and your humble deeds of love to her.
To Father Stan, Deacon Bob, Father John, and her parish family, thank you for your compassion and for the spiritual strength you’ve shown to mom. Fr. Stan, believe me, words can’t begin to do justice when I tell you mom was at peace after she spoke to you. Thank you, Padre for being her friend.
To God Almighty, thank you for sharing this amazing woman with us. Her devotion to you -her Lord and Savior- and your sacrifice on our behalf, makes us abundantly certain she is in eternal glory.
And finally, to mom - your faithful and passionate defense of your children and husband is a testament and a living memorial for all that is good, just and right. Your natural, pure and unbending love for us is the ultimate parting gift to us.
Until we meet again, mom - fly among the angels with your son and rest in eternal peace.
We love you very much.

Dear Nan, it was a pleasure and honor to work with you, in the Gift Shop at St James, also at the polls. You were the best and will be very missed.
